‘Glee’ to have no spinoff, Lea Michele back for season four
Glee will not be given a spinoff and Lea Michele will continue with the show next season, Fox has confirmed.
Reports that Michele’s character Rachel Berry could team up with Chris Colfer’s Kurt Hummel for a new adventure followed rumours the pair would ‘graduate’ from the show with Cory Monteith (Finn Hudson) at the end of season three.
Speaking at the TCA press tour today (January 8), Fox entertainment president Kevin Reilly revealed that Michele would still be a big part of Glee’s future.
“We are graduating the characters that are [due] to graduate, and what’s come out of it is [series creator] Ryan Murphy and the guys have come up with a really cool idea,” he commented.
“There will not be a Glee spinoff, but those characters will graduate and it’s led to a very interesting idea that I think is going to really give us something cool to dig into next season.”
It has not yet been confirmed if Colfer and Monteith will feature in Glee’s fourth season.
Murphy previously claimed that plans for a Glee spinoff were dropped following the controversy over cast changes.

3 Fairy Tale Movies to Look Out for in 2012
Fairy tales are timeless. As the year comes to an end, filmmakers are ready to release fairy tale-inspired movies with cutting-edge flair and plot twists in 2012.
“Dorothy of Oz”
Everyone loves the tales of Oz, from musical fantasy film “The Wizard of Oz” to theatrical production “Wicked.” And now we have an upcoming computer-animated film “Dorothy of Oz,” which is scheduled for a 3-D US theatrical release in August.
The movie revolves around Dorothy Gale’s (Lea Michele) jaunt to save her old friends, the Scarecrow (Dan Aykroyd), the Tin Man (Kelsey Grammer) and the Lion (James Belushi). As she makes the journey through Oz, Dorothy meets new companions Marshal Mallow (Hugh Dancy) and The China Princess (Megan Hilty) and Tugg (Patrick Stewart), who help her fight against the wicked Jester (Martin Short).
The movie is directed by Will Finn and Dan St. Pierre and is based Roger Stanton Baum’s book of the same name. With its line up of Tony, Golden Globe and Emmy-nominated actors and actresses, this one is sure to not disappoint.
