A beautiful Lea Michele showed some Christmas cheer in New York City tonight.
The Glee actress attended the L’Oreal Paris’ Women of Worth event at The Pierre in The Big Apple, wearing a bright red, lace Dolce & Gabbana dress. Lea was all smiles for the cameras on the red carpet, and held a sign that stated her Woman of Worth is her mom, who was also her date for the night—awww!
“Thank you @LOrealParisUSA for the most incredible and inspiring night. I’m so beyond proud to be a part of the L’Oreal family,” she tweeted, followed with, “And what a joy to get to meet & honor @LaurensKids tonight.. She is the most amazing woman..
Earlier today, the 27-year-old posted, “So honored to be tonight’s ambassador for @LOrealParisUSA
#WomenOfWorth event.. It’s going to be an amazing night!”
Michele also shared a photo of her quote that was on display at the event, which read, “I’m proud to be part of this movement that honors amazing women and by doing so, helps to motivate others to take action.”
The brunette beauty officially announced that she was the face of L’Oréal Paris in September 2012. “The rumors are true! So excited to be the new L’Oreal Paris Brand spokesperson!” the Glee star tweeted. “This is such an amazing honor!” she added. “Im so happy and excited and thrilled to be a part of the @LOrealParisUSA family!”
L’Oréal Paris USA president Karen T. Fondu said in a statement that the actress is “a beautiful woman inside and out” and “truly exemplifies our brand philosophy, ‘Because You’re Worth It.’”
And we’d have to agree.
Lea Michele made a very special announcement on Twitter Tuesday morning.
The Glee actress posted a precious pic of a pup and wrote, “Today I would like to introduce you to Pearl. She’s 8 years old and is my new little love..”
“Welcome Pearl!,” she added. She also tweeted a pic of her posing with Pearl with the caption, “Pearls first photo shoot!”
The adorable pooch appears to be a Pomeranian and was snapped snuggling in between Michele’s bed sheets.
Who in their right mind would be able to get out of bed and leave Pearl?! Not us.
But the brunette beauty has been busy lately, new pets aside.
She tweeted a sneak peek at her forthcoming album cover via Twitter.
“So excited because today I’m shooting the cover for my album! Working with the amazing photographer Peggy Sirota! ?#Album,” Michele tweeted
The 27-year-old starlet looked stunning in a white cutout dress as she struck a fierce pose with some of her glam squad lounging in the background.
While she has yet to announce a release date for her album, Michele told E! News back in June she was putting the finishing touches on it.
The singer-actress was a little anxious (but excited) about her debut album at the time, saying, “It’s really kind of happening and now I’m getting nervous. At some point, people are going to hear this! I’m just sitting in a studio!”
“We have the album pretty much locked,” she continued. “Everything is being mastered right now and we are just debating on what we want the first single to be.”

At this rate, Lea Michele will soon have a résumé to rival that of Rachel Berry, the overachieving student and aspiring theater star she plays on “Glee.” The latest addition to the to-do list of Ms. Michele, a star of the Fox musical comedy-drama, is a book that she will write for the Harmony Books imprint of Random House’s Crown Publishing Group, the publisher said Thursday.
Ms. Michele’s book, titled “Brunette Ambition” and planned for publication next spring, is described in a news release as a “part memoir, part how-to and part style-guide” that chronicles its author “from normal Bronx-born schoolgirl to Broadway child star to lead actress in one of the most popular shows on television.” The release said the book would offer a “behind-the-scenes perspective” from Ms. Michele, who has also appeared on Broadway in “Spring Awakening,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Ragtime” and “Les Misérables,” as well as her “practical advice and lessons” for young women who hope to follow in her footsteps.
Ms. Michele said in a statement: “There wasn’t a guidebook when I was growing up, that detailed everything I would need to do, and know, to get where I am today. But I believe I can write one of sorts: not a how-to-make-it-in-show-business book, but a guide to harnessing tenacity, passion, enthusiasm, and hard work to make your dreams come true.”
Glamour Magazine has released their “50 Best-Dressed Women of 2013″ and Lea Michele has made the list for the 3rd year in a row!

LEA MICHELE: NOSE
“I was one of the only girls in my high school that didn’t get [a nose job]. And if anybody needed it, I probably did,” Michele told GQ of her distinct feature. “But my mom always told me, growing up, ‘Barbra Streisand didn’t get a nose job. You’re not getting a nose job.’ And I didn’t.”
In the May 2013 issue of Elle magazine, Lea mentions that she channels Adele while she records her upcoming, currently unnamed album. Check out what she said:
“I’m inspired by a performer who can just stand there and sing and have their voice be the showstopper. Actually, I was just getting my nails done, and I said to the lady, ‘Do my nails like Adele. Less Lady Gaga, more Adele.’ I’m going to the recording studio today, and they are going to be my inspiration. I’m going to channel Adele through them.”
