Lea Michele is using her powerful voice to ban horse-drawn carriages. A devoted advocate for PETA, Lea recently filmed a shocking video that shows the brutal conditions the horses are forced to endure. Lea also inspires her followers to get involved by tweeting information about animal cruelty.
Lea Michele thoroughly enjoys her annual family Christmas “traditions”.
The 25-year-old Glee star prefers to spend the holidays in her native New York City with her kinfolk every year.
A frosty frolic through the park with her family close at hand puts a huge smile on Lea’s face.
“Every year my family and I go to Central Park,” Lea explained. “There’s a band and fireworks and it’s a big tradition for us.”
Although she enjoys time off, hardworking Lea can’t wait to crack on with her New Year’s resolutions in 2012.

“[My main] New Year’s resolution is to keep working, doing things that are challenging, exciting and enjoyable. Maybe that will get me closer to playing my idols, Natalie Wood or Barbra Streisand,” she laughed.

Her skin secret: “I’m a big lover of Kate Somerville. I go to her for facials all the time in Los Angeles. And in New York, I’m a fan of [dermatologist] Pat Wexler. I used to have bad skin growing up, and she really helped me. I also love Chanel face wash.”
