The 19th Annual Jonsson Cancer Center Foundation’s (JCCF) “TASTE FOR A CURE,” is set for Friday, April 25, 2014 at the Beverly Wilshire Hotel. Steve Mosko, President of Sony Pictures Television, receives the Gil Nickel Humanitarian Award. Actor Joel McHale will present. “Glee” star Lea Michele and “How I Met Your Mother’s” Alyson Hannigan will be part of the program featuring a performance from “Glee’s” Darren Criss and entertainment from actor/comedian Tom Papa.
“I’m obsessed with One Direction,” Lea Michele revealed in a telephone radio interview just a few weeks ago. “I saw that movie and they’re all so charming and they’re like 12 years old, and they’re like, talented. They dance and they’re funny, and their music is so great. That’s my guilty pleasure.”
In a recent behind-the-scenes interview for Seventeen Magazine, Lea Michele was asked who she would like to go on tour with in the future. “One-hundred percent, One Direction.” The starlet confessed. “And I know that their
fandom is like, very intense, so I just say that I am a simple fan, and that I ask, kindly, to be accepted into the One Direction fandom because they are amazing.”
We’d like to give a shout-out to a great One Direction fansite:

In a UK exclusive, Daybreak’s Tiffany Royce speaks to Glee star Lea Michele about her new album Louder, which was released yesterday.
The 100th episode of Glee airs tonight in the US, and includes a tribute to Lea’s former boyfriend, the late Cory Monteith.
Lea tells us what Cory thought of her album, how Gwyneth Paltrow’s daughter Apple taught her to speak with a British accent, and she chats about her plans for a family of her own.
Lea Michele was just added to the roster of stars set to present at the 2014 Kids’ Choice Awards, according to People!
The 27-year-old actress will be joined by fellow presenters Kaley Cuoco and her The Big Bang Theory co-star Jim Parsons, along with funny man Andy Samberg.
Meanwhile, it was recently announced that Vampire Diaries actor Ian Somerhalder along with Kristen Bell and a few others would also take the stage. We can’t wait!
Don’t forget – the 2014 KCA’s, hosted by Mark Wahlberg, will air live on Saturday, March 29 @ 8 p.m. ET/PT on Nickelodeon!
About a week ago, Lea Michele’s debut album Louder came out in the US. She did various television performances and radio interviews, and even did four album signings, all in the same week. As long time Gleek and admirer of Lea, I jumped at these chances to get to see her. I had the pleasure of going to her signing in Paramus, NJ on March 3rd, and then meeting her again after her Good Morning America performance on the 5th. Almost a week later, I am still totally speechless! Every wonderful thought that I have ever had of her is now amplified to the hundredth power.
While the rest of the world is busy fangirling over Jennifer Lawrence, it looks like celebrities aren’t immune either. Lea Michele revealed her ultimate girl crush on JLaw telling us, “I love her and everything that she does. She’s incredible!”
The Glee mega superstar hasn’t even met Jennifer yet, but here’s what she’d tell her, “Let’s be best friends. Maybe we would spontaneously combust, because I feel like we’re very similar.”
We’re not sure they would actually combust, but with the force of these two ah-mazing leading ladies getting together, there’s no doubt they’d probably break the Internet just with the snap of one single selfie. All we can say is: how do we join in on this epic BFF sesh?!

‘Glee’ star opens up to MTV News about her connection to Fleetwood Mac’s leading lady and her album Louder.
From “Landslide” to “You Can Go Your Own Way,” Fleetwood Mac’s music has probably helped many fans through difficult heartbreak, but for Lea Michele her connection to the band is even more personal since her boyfriend and “Glee” co-star Cory Monteith died in July.
Shortly after his death, the “Cannonball” singer received words of encouragement from the Fleetwood Mac’s leading lady, Stevie Nicks, as Michele was putting the finishing touches on her debut album, Louder.
“I had so many amazing people reach out to me, there for me through all of this. And I had the pleasure of having Miss Stevie Nicks call me when Cory passed away and she was so wonderful,” Michele recalled to MTV News on Tuesday. “She sent me the most beautiful letter, as well a necklace that was hers and a book, a beautiful book of pictures.
“She’s so insightful, she’s so incredible,” the actress/singer continued of Nicks. “She wrote to me in this letter, that I will find strength through my music. And at the time, it was very early in everything and it was sort of hard to grasp on to the fact that anything could help [me cope with Monteith's death]. “But she was right. [Music] is and it has and it will continue to be my source of strength in all of this.”
The “Glee” star hit the studio in September 2012 to begin work on the album and didn’t necessarily intend it to be so personal. But after Monteith died, everything changed.
A beautiful Lea Michele showed some Christmas cheer in New York City tonight.
The Glee actress attended the L’Oreal Paris’ Women of Worth event at The Pierre in The Big Apple, wearing a bright red, lace Dolce & Gabbana dress. Lea was all smiles for the cameras on the red carpet, and held a sign that stated her Woman of Worth is her mom, who was also her date for the night—awww!
“Thank you @LOrealParisUSA for the most incredible and inspiring night. I’m so beyond proud to be a part of the L’Oreal family,” she tweeted, followed with, “And what a joy to get to meet & honor @LaurensKids tonight.. She is the most amazing woman..
Earlier today, the 27-year-old posted, “So honored to be tonight’s ambassador for @LOrealParisUSA
#WomenOfWorth event.. It’s going to be an amazing night!”
Michele also shared a photo of her quote that was on display at the event, which read, “I’m proud to be part of this movement that honors amazing women and by doing so, helps to motivate others to take action.”
The brunette beauty officially announced that she was the face of L’Oréal Paris in September 2012. “The rumors are true! So excited to be the new L’Oreal Paris Brand spokesperson!” the Glee star tweeted. “This is such an amazing honor!” she added. “Im so happy and excited and thrilled to be a part of the @LOrealParisUSA family!”
L’Oréal Paris USA president Karen T. Fondu said in a statement that the actress is “a beautiful woman inside and out” and “truly exemplifies our brand philosophy, ‘Because You’re Worth It.’”
And we’d have to agree.
