Tuesdays will be a little less Glee-ful in late winter/early spring as Fox launches a new comedy block that includes the return of Breaking In.

The network confirmed Friday that Glee would air a “winter finale” on Feb. 21 and then take seven weeks off before returning on April 10 (at which point the show will air all originals through the end of the season).

And then beginning March 6, Fox will debut a new Tuesday lineup that kicks off with a relocated Raising Hope at 8, followed by I Hate My Teenage Daughter at 8:30, New Girl at 9 and the Season 2 launch of Breaking In at 9:30.

Brian Stokes Mitchell, one of Lea’s dads on Glee, posted on his official website about Lea:

It was especially terrific seeing Lea Michele, who is my “daughter” on the show. We gave each other big hugs in the makeup trailer as we were getting ready for the day. Lea and I go way back to when when was about 8 years old starting in the Toronto production of “Ragtime” – I was “Coalhouse Walker” and she was Tateh’s “Little Girl”.

I’ve gotten to watch her grow in maturity and roles on Broadway in “Spring Awakening” and also the revival of “Fiddler on The Roof” In 2008, we were reunited once again at the Hollywood Bowl in the Summer production of “Les Miserables” (She was Eponine and I, Javert). I know Lea probably had more than a little to do with my being on the show and I am grateful to her and everyone else that have invited me to be a part of such a fun-fest.

Last month we’ve posted here about AskMen’s Top 99 Women of 2012 poll. The list is out and Lea made the cut:

NO. 19 LEA MICHELE

Sure, we’ve caught Glee a few times when our girlfriends insisted on watching, and there’s no denying that Lea Michele is a talented actress and singer. But that is where our passing interest in her ended — until her jaw-dropping GQ shoot in November 2010. Michele oozed sexuality and completely overshadowed her costar Dianna Agron, who is nothing to ignore. And when our girlfriends dragged us to New Year’s Eve, all we could think of was Michele in knee socks and pink high heels.

As far as parental cliffhangers go, it’s second only to the identity of the Mother on a certain CBS sitcom: Glee has finally cast Rachel’s gay dads, and TVLine can reveal which musically-inclined actors landed the plum parts.

A show insider confirms to TVLine exclusively that onetime Law & Order: Criminal Intent detective Jeff Goldblum and Broadway veteran Brian Stokes Mitchell have been tapped to play Hiram and LeRoy Berry, the adoptive parents of Lea Michele’s character.

The duo will first appear in the show’s Valentine’s Day episode — which as luck would have it will actually air on Feb. 14, and is titled “Heart.” And yes, they will sing.
