Lea Michele: ‘Jersey Shore’ Star ‘The Situation’ On ‘Glee’ ‘Would Be ‘Amazing’

Forget Sue Sylvester’s “Cheerios” vs. Will Schuester’s motley crew of singers — could there be a new “Situation” brewing on “Glee”?

There will be if series star Lea Michele has anything to say about it.

While the FOX hit show boasts an impressive lineup of past — and possible future — celebrity guest stars, Lea has her eye on someone she’d love to see stop by the school – “Jersey Shore” star Mike “The Situation” Sorrentino.

“I think The Situation on ‘Glee’ would be amazing,” Lea joked with Access Hollywood’s Shaun Robinson on the Grammys red carpet on Sunday where The Situation served as Access’ guest correspondent.

In fact, Lea – who plays overachiever Rachel Berry on the FOX show – is a regular viewer of The Situation and friends on MTV.

“I’ve seen every episode of ‘Jersey Shore,’” the actress revealed. “We have a crazy shooting schedule over at ‘Glee,’ but no matter what we go through in a day, we go home and we watch the ‘Jersey Shore’ and we all talk about it the next day.”

But would Lea – who is Italian and hails from the Bronx – ever consider a cameo with the “Shore” cast?

“I think my character Rachel going to the ‘Jersey Shore’ would get eaten up alive,” she laughed.
