Flo’s take on Lea’s fashion style:
December 22, 2011
The first Lea’s fashion piece is.. how to get Lea’s jewish italian allure look.Lea’s look was inspired by Italian cinemas in the 1950s. The look was natural and relaxed. Funnily enough I’m having a break in Italy at the moment and looking around I have noticed many who have this laid back look and who look much like Michele themselves (Lucky things!)Lea’s beautiful hair was styled into soft curls which was then left free flowing. Lea likes to keep her hair simple and easy so everyday after she has showered she slicks it into a high ponytail and then later when it is dry, takes it out. To get Lea’s relaxed ‘Allure’ look you can use any sort of curling iron and curl each section of hair (including the fringe) then using a soft bristled brush back your fringe and leave it to do its own thing. Lea’s makeup could be an easier look to achieve. Lea was given cat winged eyes by applying several layers of mascara and then painting on a thick line of black liquid eyeliner and finishing with a small cute flick at the end of the eye. Use a light coloured foundation and then sweep a light bronze blush onto your cheeks. Yumi (the makeup artist) commented that Lea has a very natural lip colour so on Lea’s lips was only put a small amount of lip balm either in a clear or light pink colour. The white dress Michele wore is from Vera Wang, but don’t worry there are many other dresses on the market under £30 that achieve the same look, so get searching! Hope this piece helped you and inspires you to get creative, remember one thing have fun with it!
Happy Holidays Thankyou, Flo :)

Happy New Year Leanatics!
I thought we should bring in the new year with an old yet very glamourous look of Lea’s- the Emmys 2011. I dont think many could forget this look, it was Michele’s favorite herself! So how did Lea get her look? Melanie Inglessis (a makeup celebrity) wanted a ‘classic’ look and heres how you get it. For Lea’s radiant beaming face apply a shimmer of bronzer on the cheeks then dust an orange/pink blusher on top. This will help your face brighten up and stand out. Next for that sparkly movie star look dust your eyelids with a gold shadow or gold glitter dust- Whichever you prefer. Then to finish the eyes use a black mascara. If you have fair hair apply one coat, if your hair is dark apply 2. Finally finish it off with a pretty pink lip color! At the Emmys you see a lot of updos but who says you cant look fantastic with your hair down? Lea’s hair was super straight with her block fringe. It looked young and healthy. You can get this look by using a straightening iron and finish by apply a hair cream or a spray. If your hair is straight already brush it out and leave it flowing. Finally choose a partyish number (doesn’t have to be red) make sure its long and you. Then choose some matching pumps and you’re ready!

Let’s all congratulate Miss Lea Michele for winning the favorite actress award at Peoples Choice Award. Heres how to recreate her winning look. Melanie Ingessis (Lea’s makeup artist) created a natural face with bright pink lips to compliment lea’s dress and earrings. She quoted “A pink lip is a modern twist on the classic red lip and looks beautiful when the rest of the face is natural.” Lea wore Lancome Rouge in Love lipstick which comes out soon just in time for valentinesday. However if you are looking for something a little cheaper you can buy bright pink lipstick from many beauty suppliers to make the same affect. For the face simply brush the cheeks with a light bronzer and dust pink shimmer on the eyelids and finish off with 2 layers of black mascara. Lea has an olive skin tone so if yours is light try a darker bronzer. Michele’s white fringed marchesa gown was beautiful and her matching Jimmy Choo sandals and cute silver and pink Lorraine Schwartz jewellery finished the dazzling look. Many shops have some similar jewellery and cute party dresses so keep looking! To get Lea’s hair, comb you hair into a side parting and tuck the right side behind your ear then place you hair on your left shoulder and curl the ends with a curling iron. Lea may have walked away with a trophy but we walked away the hottest Peoples choice awards look. For all you Gleeks out there Glee is back next week with the episode Yes/No and I’m sure there will be some Rachel Berry outfits that we love!

January 16, 2012
Hi Leanatics! This time I thought I should do a piece on a casual look we can wear everyday, so this weeks look is Lea in Paris. I love Lea’s choice of outfit because its very relaxed but looks extremely stylish because of the accessories she has added. This look is really simple and easy to achieve. For Lea’s hair simply leave your hair down and straighten it if you need to. Then add some light bronze blusher, pink lip balm and paint your nails a peachy pink. Lea is wearing dark blue jeans which are easy to get and one place is from H&M, but you can get jeans like this from a number of shops. Next you’ll need a black vest and a long white v-neck t-shirt layered on top. Michele is also wearing some amazing long black boots which there will be a lot of similar styles of in various shops. Heres one style I found in H&M. Finish of the look by adding a few accessories such as some big sunglasses like these ones a silver ring such as this one from Forever 21 a black floppy hat which I saw one in H&M the other day so you should be able to find a few and finally, a small bag with a chain handle. Lea look done and you are ready! Next week I will be doing a classic Rachel Berry look then Lea’s golden globes 2012 look. Didn’t she look amazing in that silver dress? Thanks for reading, Flo :)
January 17, 2012
Lea Michele attended the Golden Globes on the 15th January 2012 and looked absolutely stunning. None of us expected this look on Michele but Melanie Inglessis (who did lea’s makeup) commented that “She’s willing to try anything, and definitely listens to what the experts have to say!” and the experts are always right. Heres how to recreate Lea’s makeup: Melanie used a selection of Lancome products on Lea but if you want something a bit cheaper there are many different products you can use. To get the eyes use a dark silver eyeshadow and blend all over the eyelid then use a black shadow and blend a little on top of the silver shadow to give some depth. Next using a soft dark grey eye pencil draw a thin line under the eye and blend that in. Finally use one layer or mascara (if you have short lashes you may want two layers). For the face simply use a dark pink blusher on the cheeks and if you want to, dust the rest of the face with a face shimmer. Melanie used Lancome L’Absolu Rouge in Rich Cashmere on the lips, which were subtle because the eyes were bold and dark. If you are aiming for a shiny lip look use a light pink lipstick with a layer or clear or light pink gloss on top.Get Lea’s updo: Hairstylist Mark Townsend did the updo for Michele. To get this look curl the ends of your hair using a curling iron so you end up with soft curls and your hair is easy to do up (don’t do this if you have frizzy hair). Then using your fingers simply twist a section of your hair loosely and grip it back with a bobby pin, do this to most of the front of your hair or as much as you like. Then take all of you hair and loosely tie it into a bun using one hairband, with the loose pieces of hair coming out of the bun twist them into the bun and grip them with bobby pins to make a crown effect. If your hair doesn’t feel secure spray some hairspray on it to keep it in place and you are done! Lea’s dress was from Marchesa but you can wear a silver number to suit the makeup then slip on some matching shoes and the looks recreated. Hope this works and is fun to do, Flo :)

Like I promised last week I’m telling you how to get Rachel Berry’s classic look.- ‘My gold stars are a metaphor. For ME being a star.’First of all get her hair, Rachel nearly always wears her hair down with the bottoms a little wavy. Do this by brushing you hair through and curling it using a curling iron at the bottoms just so it curls a little. Then if you want, you can use a hair spray or hair mousse to give a glossy texture or look.Rachel doesn’t wear bright makeup she tends to wear a light pink or clear lip gloss and a pinky eyeshadow then finishes it off with a black mascara to make her eyes stand out. Next we want her outfits. Many of Berry’s clothes come from H&M, Forever 21 and Modcloth. Anything in plaid is perfect and sweaters are brilliant! When wearing sweaters either wear them with a shirt or blouse underneath (to layer them up) or with a cute short skirt just above the knee. Rachel isn’t usually seen in jeans. Also she is a big lover of cute dresses with colourful cardigans layered on top, make sure the dresses are again above the knee. The sort of dresses Rachel might wear would be, bows, spots and floral designs. If you need inspiration have a look at some of her old outfits and try and look for similar clothing. Finally you need to finish it off with some cute pumps or loafers and some fun colourful accessories. A star or letter charm necklace is a very good start with a small purse and if you like either coloured tights or knee high socks. Last but not least lets definitely not forget a colourful beret or a matching hairband. Now after following this advice you should be able to imitate Rachel Berry’s style! Read next weeks article on another Lea Look. Good luck, Flo :)

Hello Leanatics! This week I will be telling you how to grab Lea’s TCA Winter Fox Party look. First lets start with the makeup, begin by applying a light foundation of your skin tone all over the centre of the face then layer on top, a dusting of pale orange blusher onto the cheeks. Next apply a very small amount of pale pink eyeshadow onto the eyelids and just around the eyes and then brush a layer of mascara on the eyelashes. Finish off by wearing a dark rouge coloured lipstick and layer a plain/pink lipgloss on top for that lovely glossy shine. Now for the hair leave it down and brush out any tangles then if you have a proper fringe part it in the middle. If not leave it. Next use a curling iron to curl the bottom half of your hair and leave the top of your hair straight. If you like use hair spray to give your hair a bit of shine and to hold it in place. You can also use a hair mousse if you like. Finally for the outfit, now you can do this by wearing a dress plus a cropped top over it or a top and skirt. Finish it off with some sparkly silver sandals- high heeled or flat and the looks done! See you next week for Lea’s SAG awards look! Flo :)
February 5, 2012
Time for the….. SAGS 2012,Lets begin with the makeup. For the face use a non-bold pale face powder and blend in, all over. Next use a peach blush on the cheeks to brighten the complexion, this will go with the lips and really brighten up the whole of the face. Then use a rouge lipstick which has a slight peach hint to it. Here’s the link to the actual lipstick Melanie used on Lea. After this apply a grey eyeshadow then use a lighter eyeshadow in a silver or white colour and blend that just above and on top of the grey. Remember keep the makeup quite subtle with this look as its quite a natural face. Finally take a thick dark black mascara and do two layers of mascara all over the eyelashes you might even want to do 3 layers. Now for the hair: First wash your hair, so its clean and non tangled and easy to work with. Brush your hair. Then (if you want to) straighten your hair using any type of curling or straightening iron. Next brush your fringe and use a hair mousse and work that through the hair to give the hair a easy and layered look. Take both sides of you hair and bring them to the front with your hands and the hairs done! Last thing is the outfit, simply wear a silver dress with some matching shoes and a chunky silver bracelet! Have fun and I hope you enjoyed this weeks Lea’s fashion piece. We can’t wait for the Grammys next week, Will Lea be attending? If so that will be the next piece. Thank you for reading, Flo :)
February 12, 2012
Hi Lea fans, This week we’re looking at a very easy look to get thats great for the spring and summer time. Lets begin with the hair, start my brushing your hair so its easy to use then (if you want to) part it at the side. Next use a curling or straightening iron to curl the ends of all of your hair. If you have a fringe, brush it to one side then curl the ends of it slightly. Now to apply the makeup, use a thick mascara on the eyelashes to give a dark eye effect. Then apply a peach blusher on the cheeks and a light red lipstick on the lips and thats the makeup finished! If you want to get the whole look Lea’s toe-nails are also black to match her sandals. Finally for the clothes and accessories, wear a short dress flowery or ruffled or simply a sundress. Then wear some black sandals like these from Forever 21 and if you like a sparkly bangle or bracelet. Now you are finished. Thank you for reading this weeks piece, come back next week to read another piece on how to get Lea’s look! Flo :)
February 21, 2012
Hi everyone, Glee ‘On my way’ tonight I can’t wait! This week I’ll be telling you how to achieve ‘Golden Globes 2011′So lets start with the makeup: first apply a light pink blusher on the cheeks. Now use a light silver and sweep a thin layer onthe eyelids after this layer on top a slightly darker silver in a thin layer again, then finish of with 1 or 2 layers of mascara. Finally wear a pink lipstick in a light pink and if you want to, do a thin layer of clear or pink lipgloss on top.Next is the hair: I’d like to first point out that this weeks hairstyle is quite a tricky one so I have simplified it for you. First you want to crimp or curl your hair into short small curls. Now this will be different depending on what sort of fringe you have, if you have bangs brush them to the side and leave a few pieces of hair out on each side of your hair. If you have a side fringe leave that where it is and do the same for the bangs. Or if you no fringe keep your hair them same and simply leave a few strands of hair out (If confused see the picture). After that bring all your hair (apart from the strands you left out) into a side bun on the side where your fringe is. Using 2-3 hairbands and a few pins tie your hair into a bun twisting it if you know how to but try to leave some strands hanging out of the bun. Finish it off by spraying it with hairspray to keep it in place.Last but not least the outfit: Lea wore a ruffled one shoulder pink gown but you can wear any pretty pink number. For the shoes wear silver pumps or heels and then a thin silver bracelet on the wrists and oversized chunky silver studs (of flowers if you can find any). Finally add a sliver ring with a blue stone in the middle of it to get the closest to the real look. Thanks so much for reading this weeks piece, if you have any suggestions for looks you would like me to do ask LeaMicheleWeb and I’m sure they can pass on the message to me! Flo :)

So has everyone seen Lea’s new beautiful photo shoot for Prestige magazine? Well I’m going to tell you how to get the look here! This whole look is quite simple so it should be easy to achieve.First let’s start with Lea’s makeup: Take a grey or black eye liner pencil (make sure your pencil is sharpened as this will give a much better effect) and apply a thin line on the eyelid, close to the eye. If you want to, slightly blend in the pencil line. Then use a full volume mascara and brush 1 layer of mascara on the eyelashes, or you can take any mascara and apply 2 layers. Next using a light peach or clear lipstick do a very thin layer of that on the bottom lip and rub together, layer on top a lipgloss of the same color. Finally use a dark rouge blusher and brush that on the cheeks get darker as you work your way outwards. Don’t forget to paint your nails in a gorgeous black (Jenna Hipp used Dior ‘Untitled black’).Now let’s go for the hair, this hair was really natural like the makeup and very loose: Start by washing your hair, then comb it out and use a hair moose so your hair is nice and thick. After that use a curling or straightening iron to curl all of the hair (make sure it’s all even). Now simply tuck one side behind your ears and let your hair do it’s own thing. Outfit time! Now Lea’s outfits were very expensive but you will be able to find very similar ones, for example for the one pictured in the photo to your left you can wear a playsuit in a black or green color ato make the same effect! Hope you enjoyed this article and don’t forget to pick up the issue of PRESTIGE March 2012. Thanks for reading, Flo :)
March 26, 2012
Hello to my lovely readers! Sorry there hasn’t been a piece recently, I’ve been busy. However, I hope you enjoy this weeks ‘How to get Lea’s Tony Awards look 2010! As red lipstick and buns are in for Spring 2012 I thought this would be a good look to do. I feel Lea looked absolutely stunning with a bold yet classy look. Let’s begin with the makeup, start by applying a thin layer of face powder all over your face focusing on any parts you feel need to be covered up. Next take a dark peach or light brown blusher and blend that on top of the power on the cheeks. Now you want to draw a very thin line of black pencil, or liquid eyeliner as close as you can get to the edge of your eyelid. Finish the yes off with one layer of mascara. Then finally use a bold red lipstick and make sure thats evenly spread out on the lips. This hair is a little tricky so I’ve made it simpler so you can do it. Always make sure your hair is washed and brushed before you style it. Start with the fringe, if you have bangs/ a block fringe lave that out (you may want to tie it up). If you have no fringe brush that back when you are on the next step. For the next step, comb back all of your hair apart from the Bangs/block fringe and tie into a low ponytail that’s slightly to the right side. Then taking the ponytail twist the hanging hair round the top of the ponytail. If you want a slightly harder do, after tying your hair in a ponytail plait it then continue with the steps. Last but not least all you need to do is choose a cute summer dress (in a yellow if you want!) and add a pair of silver studs. Thanks so much for reading, Flo :)
March 31, 2012
Hello Leanatics, this week’s fashion week piece is on Lea’s Paris Fashion Week look! Let’s begin with the makeup. Start by using a non sparkly silver eyeshadow and apply that on the eyelid and just above. Then blend. Next layer a darker grey eyeshadow just on the eyelid and blend that in again. Finish off by taking a soft black eye pencil and draw a line on the bottom, of the eyelid and slightly underneath. Also don’t forget 2 layers of mascara! Now for the face and the lips. On the cheeks apply a peach or skin colour blusher and use a faded pink lipstick on the lips. Finally add a thin layer of clear lipgloss on the top lip, and carefully rub your lips together. Now for the hair, this is a great hairdo as it’s fun and simple! Simply take all of your hair and loosely tie into a stiff yet loose bun that’s got a slight quiff. All we have left now is the outfit. For this you can just wear a black dress (Like this one), black pumps, a black purse and a pair of silver studs. Finished! Thanks and I hope you enjoyed this piece, Flo :)

Hey Lea fans! This week’s piece is on Lea at the American Horror Story Premiere 2011. So, as usual let’s begin with the makeup. Start by using a face powder or foundation (close to your skin colour) and apply all over the face. Next take a peach blusher and use on the cheek, make the blusher thicker as you work your way outwards. Then with a light pink lipstick apply that on the lips. You may want to top this off with a touch of lipgloss. Now for the eye makeup,, this is a simple yet bold feature. All you need to do is draw a thick blue line above the eye (the same color of the dress you’re wearing) and a thin line beneath with a soft pencil eyeliner. Next I’ll be showing you how to copy Lea’s simple hairdo. Brush your hair so it’s easy to work with. Now do a simple braid and take out a few pieces of hair and leave them at the side, easy! Finish of by wearing a blue dress (Fun fact: Lea actually wore a top from ASOS but she’s short enough for it.) a pair of heels and some chunky silver earrings. Thanks for reading and I hope you enjoyed this weeks piece, Flo! :)

This week I’ll be telling you how to recreate Lea Michele on Inside the Actors Studio. Lea looked simple yet classy, which is great for us as this is a look we can wear everyday! First, I would just like to thank weheartsarfati for making me close ups of Lea so I could see her makeup clearly. So, shall we start with Lea’s gorgeous makeup? Begin by using a foundation or blusher close your skin color. Then apply a dark peach blusher and work that on the apple of the cheek. On the eyes use a dark pink eyeshadow and apply that just below the brow fading as you work your way up. For those of you with fair hair, may want to consider using a light pink shadow. Dab dark grey eyeshadow on top and finish with a faint line of black/grey pencil eyeliner and blend together. If you feel the need to, add one layer of mascara. Complete with a rose red lipstick. Leave the hair natural and straighten (Optional). Michele’s outfit was simply stunning and there were so many alternatives to her blouse but this one was my favorite. Now all you have to do is pair this with a pair of black trousers and you’ve recreated Lea on Inside the Actors Studio. I really hope you enjoyed reading this piece and if you have any questions just tweet me @Leas_Fashion. Thanks, Flo :)
April 23, 2012
Hello! For those wanting to get Lea’s Lacoste L!ve Pool Party style, this piece is for you. Lea’s been to so many events recently and her looks have been completely different. Personally I loved Lea’s fresh summer makeup, hair and outfit, it’s a lovely simple look that would be perfect for those lovely sunny days. As usual, let’s begin with the Makeup. Apply a face powder or foundation close to your skin color and layer a light bronzer on the top. You may want to highlight the cheek with a little light pink blusher also. Then on the lid use a white/cream base and create a smoky effect on top, with a bronze eyeshadow. I would now recommend taking a subtle eyeliner and drawing, two thin lines below and above, then blend that in sightly. Complete with one or two layers of brown, or black mascara and don’t forget to add a pink lipstick for that fun flirty look! Now let’s try and recreate Lea’s gorgeous curly hair. I don’t know about you but I love to see Lea’s hair like this, she always seems to be with the straight look nowadays. Begin by making sure your hair is washed, dry and brushed. Then using a curling or straightening iron curl each section of your hair into small loose curls. An alternative would be to leave your hair in plaits/braids for a period of time or over night and take them out after that time and of course, if you have naturally curly hair leave it. Match the makeup and hair with a bikini and a t-shirt dress and espadrilles. Check out this ‘Look for Less‘ too including Lea’s real shoes! Thank you once again for reading and contact me for any questions you may have, Flo. :)
May 2, 2012
Happy May Leanatics! This week I’ll be telling you how to get Lea’s look at Taste For A Cure 2012. This definitely wasn’t a dress I expected Lea to wear but, Oscar De La Renta (where the dress is from) has done it again! Let’s begin with the makeup. Start by applying a foundation close to you skin color and layer a dark pink blusher on top, fading out towards the center of the face. Highlight the apple of the cheek with a dusting of bronzer. To match Lea’s dress, use a glittery silver shadow and begin by using that on both eyes. Then as you work your way towards the end of the eye, use a darker silver. Draw a sparkly silver line below and above with a soft pencil eyeliner and use 2 coats of mascara. Finish off with a buff lipstick and a layer of clear lipgloss. Now for the hair, begin by parting your hair at the side and brushing out.
Next get ready with one or two hairbands and if your hair is easy to work with bring it together into a low ponytail leaving the parting showing and a section of hair at the front (preferably your fringe). Twist the ponytail into a bun and fasten with a hairband. Don’t worry if it looks a bit messy. Then take a curling iron and curl the section of hair you left out – be careful not to burn yourself. If you feel the need to, spray a fair amount of hairspray to give a bit of shine and to keep everything in place. To complete the whole look match this with black pumps and a lacy black dress – a few can be found or requested here. I really hope you enjoyed this weeks piece, come back next time for how to achieve Lea at ‘The Academy of Television Arts & Sciences’ screening of Glee’. Thanks for reading, Flo :)
May 9, 2012
Hello readers! This weeks piece will be Lea Michele at the Glee Academy Event. Lea’s look was fresh and I’m happy to say, is incredibly easy to achieve. Melanie Inglessis (Lea’s makeup artist) only had a couple of minutes to do Lea’s makeup but she managed it. You can find everything she used here So lets begin with the makeup, start by applying a foundation or face powder, close to the skin color and blend in a pale pink blusher on the cheeks. For the eyes use a fat silver kohl pencil and draw a line below and above. Then because we want to make the eyes smoky blend a little silver shadow on top. Finish off with a little black mascara on the top and bottom lashes. To achieve Lea’s subtle yet fun lips apply a pale pink lipstick, simple! Next lets recreate the hair, begin by washing and drying the hair and brushing out. Now all you have to do is tie your hair up into a normal ponytail. Match this look with a simple white top and skirt (try this for an alternative to Lea’s) and sliver sandals to match the smoky silver eye. Come back next week for a piece on Lea at the Met Gala and if you have any questions contact me at @Leas_Fashion or @LeaSMicheleFans. Thanks for reading, Flo :)
May 15, 2012
Hello Leanatics! This week you’ll get two Lea’s fashion pieces, the first is Lea at the Met Gala 2012. Lea looked sophisticated in a Diane Von Furstenberg navy sequinned gown and matching clutch, she then complimented with nude makeup and a curly updo . First, we’ll begin with her makeup. Start by applying a foundation or face powder close to the skin color and layer a peach bronzer on top, you could also use a blusher. Now take a chocolate brown eyeshadow and layer a dusting of gold shimmer on top slightly smudging out towards to eyebrow. Also, using a small applicator, draw a thin line of gold shimmer below the eye and smudge a little. Add two coats of black mascara and a nude colored lipstick for the finishing touch. Next for the hair, wash and try and part at the side. Then using a curling of straightening iron curl each section of the hair. If you have short hair the look is completed, if you don’t you will need to do a bit of pinning. Take the end of a section of hair and pin it to the nape of your hair, repeat this until all the hair is pinned so it looks like a bob. Remember to leave a piece of hair at the front out and one or two random curls. Complete the whole look with a blue gown and matching accessories. Thank you for reading and again if you have any questions contact me at @LeaSMicheleFans or @Leas_Fashion. Find all the products Melanie Inglessis used for Lea’s makeup here. Flo :)
May 16, 2012
Our second piece for this week is Lea at the Fox Upfronts Part 1. This is a really simple, fun and flirty and perfect for the warm weather. For the makeup start by applying a face powder or foundation close to your skin color and a dusting of pale pink blusher on top. Now take a sparkly grey eyeshadow and apply on the eyelids fading out, towards the corner of the eye. Finish of with a pale pink lipstick and a layer of mascara. Sarah Potempa curled Lea’s hair using the Beach Waver and Lea’s hair was perfect curly as her new extensions shone out. You can achieve a similar look by separating the hair down the middle and bring the two sections forward then taking a curling or straightening iron and curling each section of hair. To make the hair thicker I suggest using a little mousse after washing. Finish off by adding a pink dress or, top and skirt. Also a pair of pumps in soft grey are the perfect neutral to balance out neon pink. Find what Lea actually wore here and a look for less here. Enjoy experimenting and thank you for reading, come back next week for Part 2! Flo :)
May 25, 2012
Welcome to part 2 of Lea at the Fox Upfronts 2012! Lea looked stunning in a flesh-coloured lace dress from Emilio Pucci’s Pre-Fall 2012. Earlier we saw Lea in a hot/neon pink dress and this was a big change, she managed to go from fun to glamour in one night! We’ll start with her makeup, use a foundation close to the skin color and apply all over the face. Blend in a nude blusher on the cheek, then take a chocolate brown eyeshadow and dust on the eyelid and smudge out under the eye slightly. Layer a brown shimmer on top. Now use a brown or black eyeliner and draw a thin faded line below and above, finish with 3 layers of mascara. Add a pop of color to the lips and you’re done!
The hair is a little tricky, so we’ve made it simpler for you. However don’t be afraid to contact me for the harder version. Start by washing your hair and brushing out so it’s easy to work with, then using a curling or straightening iron curl each section of hair evenly. Part your hair in the middle a make one thin braid on the right side of your hair and one thicker on the right side (see picture if confused). Now take all of your hair and bring together forming a bun, leave two pieces or hair on either side of the front. I’d suggest securing the bun with 2 hairbands, tip: make them black or brown so they blend in! Now you may want to use a little hairspray to hold in place. Complete with a lacy dress, matching heels and a chunky gold bracelet to compliment. Thank you for reading part 2, if you have any problems tweet me on @LeaSMicheleFans or @Leas_Fashion, Flo :)

This weeks Lea’s Fashion piece is on Lea at the David Letterman show! Lea sported a simple yet bold look, she kept hair and makeup simple and made the main feature a stunning dress that showed some major cleavage. Begin by applying a foundation or face powder all over the face in a color close to your skin. Layer on top a dark pink blusher and blend in using your ring finger. Then sweep a light silver shadow over the eyelid and drawing a thin line of liquid eyeliner above the eye. Finish off with a layer of black mascara and a dab of light pink lipgloss. Now simply curl each section of the hair using a curling or straightening iron and hold in place with a little hairspray. In the way of what to wear you can either don a white dress and nude heels or you can buy the Amen dress Lea wore here. Thanks for reading, be sure to come back next week for another piece! Flo :)
June 16, 2012
This weeks fashion piece is on Lea at the 11th Annual Chrysalis Butterfly Ball. Lea let the back of her dress be the main highlight of the night by brining her hair forward and wearing little accessories. Let’s start with her makeup, Use a light foundation or face powder and smooth into the apple of the cheek and anywhere that needs covering up. Now sweep a little silver eyeshadow onto your eyelid and finish with a line of grey eyeliner, below and above, and a coat of mascara. Finally add a pop of dark pink lipstick. Leave the hair natural, maybe giving it one curl at the bottom and bring it forward, to sit on the shoulders. Lea wore a gorgeous Emilio Pucci dress with a criss cross flower pattern but you can get the same effect by wearing a floral summer dress. Then top your outfit off with one or two rings and a pair of summery sandal. That’s it for this weeks piece. Thank you for reading! Flo :)

Recently Lea covered the Australian Magazine, ‘Shop Til’ You Drop’. They chose a relaxed look for the cover and Lea looked stunning through-out the whole shoot. To achieve Lea’s pink smoky makeup, begin by applying a light cream or foundation onto the cheek, in your skin color. Rub this in circles and use a little highlighter just above the cheek. Then layer a light pink blusher on top for a flirty look! Next take the same foundation you used earlier and rub in a small amount on both eyelids. On top of this, make a smoky eye by using a dark pink eyeshadow and blending, in a dusting of pink shimmer and a grey eyeshadow. We used the foundation so that the glitter would stick and blend in well. Finish off with a couple of layers of black mascara and a light pink lipstick. For the hair simply curl into soft locks and brush the fringe back. Then to finish off wear a pair of summery shorts and a tight fitting jumper. Thanks for reading, Flo! :)

For this weeks Lea’s Fashion piece, I wanted to do an old favorite. I decided on the Emmys 2010, Lea looked gorgeous in blue with chunky silver jewellery and matching blue eye makeup. Begin by washing your face, drying, then applying a skin colored blusher onto the cheeks. Dab a highlighter on the top of the cheek and rub that in. Now use a fat brush and dust a white or cream eyeshadow on the eyelid and use up to under the eyebrow. Take a soft navy pencil eyeliner and draw a thick line close to the lash-line. Then draw a small flick on the outer corner of the eye and slightly smudge it. On the inner corner of your eye use a light blue shadow and go up to the centre of the eye so there’s a blue fadeout. Finish off with a couple of layers of a thick mascara and a little pink eyeshadow, rubbed in just above the outer corner of the eye. Complete the makeup with a buff lipstick. Simply keep your hair free-flowing and curl each section. Match the look with silver jewels and a long blue dress. Be sure to read next weeks piece, if you want Lea’s Glamour Women of the Year 2012 look. Flo :)

As promised, this week is Lea at the 2012 Glamour Awards in London! This has become one of my all time favorite looks and it got a lot of great reviews. Lea brought a little hollywood glamour with her to London on the day and she went away with a Glamour Women of the Year US TV Actress Award. Start by washing the face and applying a foundation or face powder close to your skin color, then on the cheeks blend in a peach blusher. Now on the eyes dust a little silver eyeshadow and using a navy blue liquid or pencil eyeliner draw a thin line below the eye and a thicker one above. To finish add a few layers of mascara and a light flirty pink lipstick. Next wash the hair, dry and brush back into slick ponytail in the middle of the back of the head. To hide the hairband, like lea, take a piece of hair and wrap it round the hairband. Then take a curling iron and curl the ends of the ponytail into soft large curls. To make sure it stays in place spray a little light hairspray and you’re done! Finish off with a navy blue dress, green and blue earrings and a pair of grey pumps. Have any problems? Just tweet me on @LeaSMicheleFans or @Leas_Fashion :) Thank you for reading, Flo.

Just yesterday, 6 of the Glee Cast, Lea, Cory, Kevin, Naya, Jenna and Darren stepped out to attend Comic Con to answer some of our many questions and give us a few sneak peaks about Season 4! Lea looked gorgeous, in a glamorous twist on what Rachel Berry might wear, let’s start with her makeup. Being by applying a foundation over any bits of the face you may wanted to cover up. Then take a light peach blusher and dust lightly on the cheek, use your ring finger to blend it in. Take a dark grey eyeshadow which is a little sparkly and sweep one layer across the eyelid, slightly extending it beyond the outer corner of the eye. You want to make the eyeshadow look quite light. Now draw a very thin line of grey eyeliner as close as you can to the lashes above and below. Finish off with light pink lipstick and a few layers of black mascara. Next brush your hair until it’s smooth, soft and easy to work with. Using a curling or straightening iron, make wavy curls that start just above the cheek. Bring both sides of hair to the front and you’re done! Lea wore a Tweed Stella and Jamie suit which she paired with a Bec & Bridge tank and added a little color in Red Nichloas Kirkwood shoes! You can achieve the same with a white vest, tweed jacket and skirt and red pumps. Thank you for reading! Flo :)

Lea opened her heart today as she signed and made a handprint for ‘Valspar Hands for Habitat. You can bid for Lea’s painting here. Melanie Inglessis chose a simple nude palette for Lea at this charity event using products by ‘Tarte’. This is a good every day look, that would work perfectly at both day and night. Start by applying light pink blusher on top of a foundation, close to your skin color, on the cheeks. Sweep a white eyeshadow onto the eyelids and extend to just under your eyebrow. Draw a thin line of grey pencil eyeliner below and above, this will pair with the white to give a glamourous, sexy look. Complete the makeup with a nude lipstick. Keep the hair sleek and straight and wear a blue dress and black suede pumps to finish the whole look! Remember to keep it more casual than you think :) Thank you for reading, Flo.

Lea Michele’s make-up inspiration for the Teen Choice Awards 2012 was “California cutie meets couture”. She looked stunning with a glowing tan, nude lips and simple silver eyeliner. Start off by washing your face and applying a foundation close to your skin color. Then use a concealer to hide any unwanted features. Blend in well by patting then using a fat blusher brush. Take a dark pink blush (try Tarte natural cheek stain in True Love – actual product used) and apply on the apples of your cheeks, fading out toward your sideburns. Now use a cream eyeshadow and apply all over your eyelids right up to your eyebrow. Use a dark bronze eyeshadow and apply on your eyelid and slightly blend in. Finish off the eyes with a black mascara on the top and bottom lashes. Complete with a natural pink lip color and apply on your lips, finish with a small amount of clear or light pink lipgloss for an extra shine. For the hair, wash, dry and use a curling or straightening iron to product small wavy curls. Lea wore a Versace dress & shoes, a Marchesa clutch and Stephern Webster jewels. Find an alternative to her dress here. Thank you for reading! Flo :)

On the 23rd July 2012 Lea Michele attended the Fox 2012 Summer TCA All-Star Party. Her look got many good reviews in US magazines, including OK and Instyle. Lets begin with makeup. Star by applying a medium pink blush on top of foundation close to your skin. Then apply a cream eyeshadow up to you eyebrow and layer a grey on the bottom of your eyelid. Finish with black mascara and silver pencil eyeliner below and above. Use a medium pink lipstick and finally layer a small amount of lip balm or vaseline on top for a shiny finish. Wash your hair and dry so it’s easy to work with, use a little hair mousse before drying to make your hair a bit thicker. Now separate your hair into three braids and braid them all together. Slightly pull the braid apart to give a loose messy look. Complete with hairspray to hold everything in place. Lea wore an Emilio Pucci dress and opted for satin pumps by Brian Atwood and a selection of Cathy Waterman jewels. Buy her earrings here, clutch on net-a-porter and shoes from nordstrom. Congratulations to Lea Michele, who walked a way with a ‘Do Something’ Award! Michele looked stunning in a ruffled low-cut number with natural hair and a smoky eye going on. Start by washing and drying your face, and applying a foundation close to your skin color to begin with. If you have any blemishes or redness apply a concealer of your shade onto them. Apply a fair amount of dark peach blusher on your cheekbones working your way up to your sideburns and blend it in well. Finish with a little face powder on your chin and nose to make your skin even more flawless. If you don’t have an eye primer (I suggest ones by Too Faced and Urban Decay) use a little bit of concealer and blend it onto the eyes. Now dab white eye shadow on top and layer it up to give a pigmented colour. Now take a thin makeup brush and apply light purple eye shadow, on the eyelid and slightly extend it to the inner corner of the eye. Finish with 2 layers of mascara and smudge a thick layer of black pencil eyeliner on the lower lash line. Then on the upper lash line smudge a thinner line of the eyeliner. Complete with a nude lipstick – to get Lea’s silvery lip glow, take a silver shadow and dab a little bit in the middle of your lip! Lea kept her hair very natural, and added a soft curl. Start by washing your hair and using a little product to give it more volume (I recommend John Frieda for hair products). When dry curl each section of the hair at the ends with a curling iron and spray hairspray to keep everything in place. For Lea’s outfit Estee picked a Giorgio Armani dress, Samira 13 jeweller. Find some of her pieces here and a look for less here! Thanks for reading, Flo. :)

Lea looked gorgeous in another lace dress on her appearance of Jimmey Kimmel Live and.. the FOX Fall Casino Party! She let her ombre hair stay natural, in a few cascading curls, and finished with smokey makeup. Start by washing your face, drying and applying a foundation that matches your skin tone – make sure you blend it in well. Get rid of any spots or blemishes by using a concealer close to you skin colour and blend dark pink blush on the whole cheek. On your eyelids sweep a creamish/white eye shadow all over both eyes. Then slightly continue the eye shadow to the inner corner of your eye and below. Take a dark grey eye shadow and dab a little amount on the outer corner of the eye and slightly blend it in. Now use a dark silver shadow and start from where you finished the dark grey and blend in a little. Make sure the majority of the eye is still white. Next take a black pencil eyeliner and draw a thick line below the eye half way from the outer corner of the eye. Use a very thin line of black liquid eyeliner below and above, and join it at the corners. Take fat black mascara and apply several coats the top lashes. Now use thin black mascara and apply a several coats to the bottom lashes. Take a subtle pink lipstick and apply on your lips. Make sure the lipsticks in a thin layer. You could use a pink lip gloss or lip balm instead – your choice! Press your lips between tissue paper to remove the excess layer of lipstick. Now for the hair, brush your hair until it becomes smooth and soft. If you have an after hair mousse, that you can use to make your hair thicker, use that. Curl each section into large thick curls and leave your fringe (if you have one) as it is. Complete by spraying a light amount of hairspray to give shine and to keep everything in place. Finish the look with a lace silver dress, Lea wore this one and nude pumps which can be found here. Thanks for reading this piece, Flo :)
